The curtain rises on a young boy, Benjamin, who is being harassed by anti-Semitic bullies, causing him to question his Judaic beliefs.  Follow him on a musical journey that begins on the first night of Chanukah where a dream transforms him into Judah Maccabee.  Through music, dance and drama he fights for religious freedom, discovers the true meaning of Chanukah, and renews his faith in Judaism and himself.
